| It's amazing how much I forget what my passions are when I don't do them in a while. Tonight I just did salsa dancing with the girls on my floor and it was so much fun!! I miss dancing and what a stress reliever it is in my life. It was songs like Waiting for Tonight and La La Bamba. I haven't laughed so hard and had so much fun in a long time!! I love how God knows just what we need when we need it. After all, when the weather is this freezing we all need something to get us up off our butts and exercise!! Ahhhhhhhhhh, I feel so much better now!!
I am recently attending a women's bible study called "Living Beyond Yourself" by Beth Moore and if you've never heard her speak before I would encourage you to do so. She's inspirational and really speaks to my heart.
I am also watching a series called "Breaking Free." This is a lot about how we as God's people can and will be oppressed by the enemy. Although we can't be possessed, we can certainly be oppressed and need to get rid of anything that has a stronghold in our lives. This meaning anything that is mastering or controlling you that is not of God. She said that this may be an ungodly relationship, a bad habit, or anything that is keeping you from allowing God to over rule your life. To experience victory in our lives we must listen to the truth of God's word, allowing it to do a work in our hearts and transform our lives. God may have a period in our lives to use as tesing, to inevidibly draw us closer to himself because he sees the potential of his children and APPOINTS THE EXPERIENCES NECESSARY FOR THEM TO FULFILL THEIR DESTINIES!! AMEN.
So if you are experiencing a trial or spiritual warfare, God may be testing and stretching you to the point until you finally cry out to him for help in order to get your attention, draw you closer to himself, and to continue transforming you into the person he's created you to be. So i just encourage you to let GOD OVER RULE YOUR LIFE AND NOT THE IDOLS OF THIS WORLD. And again idols can be anything in your life that masters or controls you that is NOT GOD HIMSELF.
We can't be set free from the chains of bondage until we are willing to give God the ultimate surrender of our will into his will. So stop living in CHAINS BY CONFORMING TO THE PATTERNS OF THIS WORLD AND BE TRANSFORMED BY THE RENEWING OF YOUR MIND (Romans) Allow the Holy Spirit of God to control you and not idols. Idols can be people too. Don't let SOMEONE in your life control you or allow you to be living in chains. But let the truth set you free. Surrender your will to God's will and see his Holy Spirit at work in your life.

Christ was despised and rejected so we could be favored and accepted.
